ANKARA

Anadolu has made its book The Evidence, which documents Israel’s war crimes in Gaza with definitive proof, available globally by digitizing it.

The Evidence, originally published by Anadolu in December 2023, presents Israel’s crimes in Gaza with undeniable visual documentation.

The revised and expanded 9th edition has now been transferred to digital format.

The digital version of The Evidence is accessible at aakitap.com.tr/kanit, allowing a wider global audience to witness the full extent of these crimes.

The website, featuring documentary-style visuals, offers information in Turkish, English, and Arabic, ensuring easy access for users worldwide.

War crimes exposed

On the homepage, images of white phosphorus bombs used in Israel’s attacks on Gaza are prominently displayed.

Further down, the statements made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Gaza during a November 2023 joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz are included.

Anadolu’s President and CEO Serdar Karagoz presents an introduction to The Evidence, where images and videos serve as documentary proof of Israel’s crimes in Gaza according to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.

Visitors can navigate through the visuals using the arrows on the left and right. Below each image, details are provided about the crime it serves as evidence for, the location where it was taken, the name of the photojournalist, and a detailed description of the event.

One striking visual comparison shows an aerial "before and after" view of the destruction caused by the Israeli military in Rafah, targeting displaced Gazans.

The website also includes statistics on Palestinians killed, injured, and displaced by Israeli attacks, as well as a tribute to Anadolu freelance cameraman Montaser Al-Sawaf, who was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza on Dec. 1, 2023.

A dedicated page displays the names and photos of 205 journalists who were killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza, along with documentary images and data that expose the full scale of the war.

Additionally, the 4th edition of The Witness, another book by Anadolu, is set to be digitized, while another book titled The Defendant is also scheduled for online release in the coming days.

These projects aim to provide critical documentary evidence and visuals to support international law and human rights efforts, ensuring wider public awareness of the ongoing situation.
