Algeria's ambassador to Türkiye on Wednesday paid a visit to the headquarters of Anadolu in the capital, Ankara.
Amar Belani was welcomed at the headquarters by President and CEO Serdar Karagoz and Yusuf Ozhan, deputy director general and editor-in-chief.
Underlining the common challenges surrounding the region, Belani said the two countries have "strong" and "very close" relations based on "common identity, memory and history."

Two nations have around $5.3 billion in bilateral trade, and there is about $6 billion worth of Turkish investment in Algeria, Belani noted.
The ambassador said the two countries need to work more to enhance economic, political, social and cultural relations.
Karagoz, for his part, said since 2012, a total of 26 Algerian citizens attended the War Journalism Training Program organized by Anadolu.
During the meeting, Ozhan made a presentation about Anadolu's history, organizational structure and recent projects.
