Russian, Bruneian foreign ministers discuss expanding cooperation in energy, agriculture, finance, and tourism
Sergey Lavrov, Erywan Yusof review current state, prospects of ties as countries mark 35th anniversary of relations
ISTANBUL
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met Tuesday with Brunei Darussalam’s Second Foreign Affairs Minister Erywan Yusof in Moscow to discuss expanding cooperation in energy, agriculture, finance, banking and tourism.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said Lavrov and Yusof reviewed the current state and prospects of ties as the countries mark the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
They also exchanged views on key international and regional issues, including the escalating situation in the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region, it said.
Particular attention was given to strengthening cooperation within the Russia-ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) dialogue partnership.
