Magnitude 6.3 quake jolts Indonesia
No tsunami alert issued or immediate reports of damage, casualties
A magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck Indonesian's East Java province early Thursday, according to the Indonesian Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysical Agency (BMKG).
The quake’s epicenter was located 69 kilometers (43 miles) northeast of Bangkalan Regency at a depth of 636 kilometers (395 miles).
