China's Xi hosts world leaders following SCO summit
President Xi Jinping meets with leaders of Malaysia, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan in Beijing

ANKARA
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday held meetings with the leaders of Malaysia, Magnolia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan, who were in China to attend a Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, state media reported.
In a meeting at the Great Hall of the People, Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim underlined his country’s commitment to deepening its comprehensive strategic partnership with China, Malaysia’s state-run Bernama news agency reported.
Expressing confidence that Malaysia's relations with China will continue on an upward trajectory, Anwar reaffirmed his country's commitment to deepening bilateral relations.
"We want to make sure that what was agreed upon will be implemented on the fast track, because I want this special strategic, comprehensive relations to really work," he added.
In a separate meeting with Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Xi said the two sides should carefully safeguard the political foundation of bilateral relations, better synergize development strategies, and work together to advance respective modernization endeavors, China's Foreign Ministry said.
Xi stressed that no matter how the international landscape evolves, China will remain a trustworthy and reliable partner for Mongolia.
Xi also held talks with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, where discussions focused on advancing bilateral cooperation and shared interests.
The four leaders are among 22 foreign heads of state and government expected to attend a Wednesday military parade in Beijing marking the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
