TURKISH PREMIER CONDEMNS TAKSIM BOMBING AS INHUMAN ATTACK
ANKARA - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned Sunday morning's bombing in Istanbul's central Taksim Square as an "inhuman attack".

"Terror has unveiled its bloody and ugly face once again. An understanding targeting to make a mass murder by blowing himself up in one of the most crowded places in Istanbul cannot have any humanly feelings. Such an attempt for killing civilians and ending his own life can only be explained with a grave brutality. Any ideology or any goal cannot approve such an inhuman act. Nothing can justify such bloody acts. It is an inhuman attack targeting not only Turkey but the humanity itself," he said.
"Since we know that terror does not serve any humanitarian values, we have called on the other countries to act together against terror. On every occasion, we reiterated that we have to cooperate in fight against terrorism. Actually, we have made a significant progress. There are important developments especially in Europe about eradication financial sources of terror," he said.
Prime Minister Erdogan said, "our 73 million citizens stand against terror in absolute solidarity. Our people will not allow those dark games. All dimensions of Sunday's attack will be enlightened. Such attacks aim at hampering Turkey's democratization process. I call on all political parties not to use the issue of terror and fight against terror as a political tool. Our government will never make concessions from fight against terror."
A suicide bomber detonated the bomb wrapped around his body near a police vehicle in Istanbul's central Taksim Square on Sunday morning, blowing himself up and injuring 32 people.
