TURKCELL TO OPERATE IN GERMANY
HANNOVER - Turkey's biggest GSM operator Turkcell's Director General Sureyya Ciliv said that Turkcell would begin to operate in Germany in April.

Ciliv told A.A that Turkcell would begin to operate in Germany in April by making cooperation with Deutsche Telekom.
Turkcell is the main sponsor of Turkey in the fair.
Ciliv said that Turkish citizens would use the best technology and communication both in Germany and Turkey thanks to this cooperation. He added that the infrastructure of Deutsche Telekom had the largest network coverage and highest mobile internet speed in Germany.
Ciliv said that Turkcell had 61 million customers in eight countries, adding that they were operating in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Turkey.
He added that Turkcell, after Germany, targeted to open to countries where Turks were highly populated.
Turkcell is the leading communications and technology company in Turkey with 33.9 million postpaid and prepaid customers and a market share of approximately 55 percent as of September 30, 2010. Turkcell reported nearly 1.5 billion USD net revenue for the period ended September 30, 2010 and its total assets reached about 10 billion USD as of September 30, 2010.
