ANKARA - Nurol-Ascioglu consortium has presented the highest offer to purchase the land of Istanbul's Ali Sami Yen Stadium at a tender held by Turkey's Housing Administration (TOKI) on Friday.

The consortium offered 416.5 million Turkish Liras for the land of Turkish soccer team Galatasaray's home ground. (1 USD equals 1.47 TL)
Upon such offer, Ozyazici withdrew from the tender.
The tender was technically concluded and TOKI would assess the offer later, officials said.
According to the ground plan, the winning party can build a residence and a shopping mall on the 34,640 squaremeter land in Istanbul's Sisli district.
Turkish team Galatasaray's new sports complex "Seyrantepe Turk Telekom Arena" is being constructed by Turkish consortium of Varyap-Uzunlar. Galatasaray is expected to move to its new stadium next season.
The stadium with a retractable roof panel will have a capacity to host 52,000 spectators, and will cost about 130 million Euro.
