MOGADISHU

Capital city of Mogadishu also has sign of ruins in every each corner. Traces of bullets can be found almost everywhere. Historic monuments in the country are also being destroyed due to the civil war.
Abdi Aziz Mosque, which has been built in the 1500's by Turkish sailors, is known as the first Masjid built in Somalia by the Ottomans. Some volunteers live in the mosque who claim that they dedicated themselves to save the historical structure.
