The exhibition "Site", which is the most comprehensive exhibition Istanbul Modern has held for an artist so far, will remain open till January 10, 2010.
"Site" will display all phases of 50-year artistic life of Sarkis.
Sarkis Zabunyan, known as Sarkis, was born in Istanbul in 1938 and graduated from Mimar Sinan University. He has been living in Paris since 1964. He won "1967 Prix de la Peinture a la Biennale de Paris" and "1991 Grand Prix National de Sculpture" awards.
Sarkis will open exhibitions in Paris Pompidou Modern Art Center and Geneva Modern Art Museum in 2010.
