Hunter Schafer, a star in the television series "Euphoria," was detained by police during a pro-Palestine protest in New York City, media reports said Wednesday.

Schafer was arrested for storming NBC headquarters at Rockefeller Center to disrupt President Joe Biden’s appearance on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” according to the New York Post.

The 25-year-old actress and model received a summons for trespassing after participating in the demonstration that demanded a halt to Israel's continuous bombing of Gaza, said the newspaper.

Schafer, known for her role as Jules in the HBO teen drama, was captured by photographers wearing a "Cease-fire now" t-shirt while being escorted out of the building by a police officer with her hands restrained behind her back, it said.

She joined fellow protesters affiliated with the Jewish Voice for Peace anti-Zionist activist organization who sat in the lobby of the building holding banners that read "Jews to Biden: Stop arming genocide" and "Lasting cease-fire," according to the newspaper.

“No more weapons, no more war. Cease-fire is what we’re fighting for,” the group chanted along with “Not in our name.”

Meanwhile, a group of Palestinian supporters gathered late Tuesday in New York City to commemorate US soldier Aaron Bushnell, who set himself on fire in protest against Israel's ongoing attacks on Gaza.

Demonstrators gathered in front of the Army Recruitment Center in Manhattan to hold a memorial in honor of Bushnell.

The area around Bushnell's poster, placed in front of the giant American flag in Times Square, was adorned with carnations and candles.

Bushnell, 25, an active-duty member of the US Air Force, set himself ablaze in front of Israel’s Embassy on Sunday in protest of the war in the besieged Gaza Strip, and US support for the offensive. He was taken to a hospital but died from injuries he sustained.

“I will no longer be complicit in genocide. I’m about to engage in an extreme act of protest, but compared to what people have been experiencing in Palestine at the hands of their colonizers, it’s not extreme at all. This is what our ruling class has decided will be normal,” Bushnell said in a video recording that went viral on social media.

Bushnell could repeatedly be heard shouting, "Free Palestine!" as flames engulfed him before he collapsed to the ground.

Hundreds of people went to Israel's diplomatic mission Monday to mourn him.
