Anadolu cameraman injured after ICE agents' assault in New York
Vural Elibol thrown to ground by agents while documenting arrests during immigration court proceedings

WASHINGTON
Türkiye’s chief cameraman working with Anadolu was injured Tuesday when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents assaulted him at a federal court in New York City.
Vural Elibol was thrown to the ground by ICE agents while he was documenting arrests during immigration court proceedings at 26 Federal Plaza.
Elibol was unable to move after hitting his head on the ground and was hospitalized.
Other journalists who witnessed the incident said that during the scuffle, officers told Elibol to "get out of the elevator," but Elibol was already outside the elevator.
The incident was caught on footage Elibol was shooting.
