Thousands of Turks living in the United States gathered in Paterson, New Jersey to celebrate the seventh edition of traditional Turkish Day and Festival.
The traditional Turkish Day and Festival that was arranged by Federation of Turkish American Associations started with a parade at the junction of the Main Street and Madison High Street. The parade ended at Clifton Park.
For the first time of the festival history, an American congress member, New Jersey's democrat senator Nellie Pou attended the parade. Pou walked with Turkey's Consul General in New York Levent Bilgen during the parade.
After the parade, Turkish singers Linet and Esref Inceoglu took to stage in a concert featuring Turkish popular and traditional songs.
