Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has congratulated Libya's new Prime Minister Ali Zidan on his new task.
In a statement released on Thursday, Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that Erdogan had called Zidan and wished him great success in his new task as prime minister of Libya.
During the phone conversation Erdogan expressed Turkey's full support to the new government in Libya.
"Turkey is going to give its full support to Libyan people in terms of building democracy and prosperity in the country," Erdogan said.
Libya's national assembly had approved new Prime Minister Ali Zidan's proposed government on Wednesday.
