According to the Turkish Prime Ministry Press Office, the two statesmen talked about a border dispute between South Sudan and Sudan.
Ali Osman Taha gave the latest information on their border dispute with South Sudan to Erdogan in a phone conversation that lasted 15 minutes.
Premier Erdogan told Taha that the border dispute had to be solved through dialogue and peaceful methods.
Turkey supports talks between the two sides and is ready to extend all possible assistance so that the Sudanese people establish good, friendly relations, Erdogan told Taha.
