CAIRO
Syrian National Council (SNC) on Sunday welcomed an Arab League decision whereby Syria would be represented at the League by the Syrian National Coalition for Opposition and Revolutionary Forces.
In a written statement released on Sunday, the SNC underlined that the Arab League's decision was a victory for the Syrian people's revolution.
The Arab League decision respects the will and courage of the Syrian people as well as the Syrian martyrs, the SNC stressed in its statement.
The SNC congratulated the people of Syria and thanked the Arab League for their decision.
Syria's membership in the Arab League was suspended on November 12, 2011 due to the Syrian regime's brutality and attacks against its own people.
