HATAY
Ministers, lawmakers, senators and special envoys have visited the Syrians staying in Turkish tent-sites so far.
Among those who have visited the Syrian people in tent-sites in the southern province of Hatay are United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie, UN-Arab League Special Envoy to Syria Kofi Annan, U.S. senators John McCain and Joe Lieberman, several ministers and lawmakers.
The number of people who have visited the Yayladagi tent-site has reached almost 10,000. This number also included relatives of the Syrian people staying at the tent-site.
Around 2,700 Syrians are staying in the tent-site.
