LONDON
Hundreds of people have gathered in front of Buckingham Palace to celebrate the arrival of little prince.
News of the royal arrival triggered a party mood on the streets of London.
"I am so excited. We are here with my parents, we are wondering what would be the baby's name" said 7 years old Philin.
Rachel, striking with her red wig and UK flag patterned dress, said "I am in front of world's most beautiful palace. Today is a historic day. It would be nice if they named the baby as "George", but of course mother's happiness and baby's healthy is more important."
President of the United States Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama congratulated Prince William and Kate Middleton on the royal birth of their baby boy on Monday.
“Michelle and I are so pleased to congratulate The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the joyous occasion of the birth of their first child" said Obama.
Prince William and Duchess Kate's first baby, a future monarch, was born Monday at 4:24 pm local time in London's private wing of St. Mary's Hospital, the palace announced.
The announcement said the baby weighed 3.8 kg (8 pounds, 6 ounces).
