LONDON
A vast number of photojournalists are waiting for the arrival of little prince for taking a photo in front of Buckingham Palace
Duchess of Cambridge Kate and the Prince of Cambridge, whose name has not been announced yet, are expected to be discharged today from St. Mary Hospital in London.
Kate and Prince William, who spent the night in hospital, are envisioned to go to their official residence Kensington Palace.
"We could not be happier," said Duke of Cambridge William yesterday.
Meanwhile, many newspapers in Britain headlined "Baby is male". Guardian's headline was "A birth, a boy, a prince, a king," Times' headline was "A Prince is Born". The popular newspaper of England, The Sun had the headline "The Son".
British media commented on the baby, the third in the succession to the throne of England, and stated that he would be able to succeed to the crown at least after 50 years.
Prince William and Duchess Kate's first baby, a future monarch, was born Monday at 4:24 pm local time in London's private wing of St. Mary's Hospital, the palace announced.
The announcement said the baby weighed 3.8 kg (8 pounds, 6 ounces).
