HATAY
Four members of a Kuwaiti humanitarian aid organization visited Syrians staying in a tent-site in Turkey's southern province of Hatay on Monday.
Salah Ahmed Aljarallah, a member of International Islamic Charitable Organization, told reporters that the organization was closely interested in not only the crackdown in Syria but also the Syrian taking shelter in Turkey.
"We tried to see what their needs are, and what Turkey has done since crackdown has begun in Syria is obvious," Aljarallah said.
Aljarallah thanked Turkey for its sensitivity and what it had done to help the Syrians, and expressed hope that peace and order would be restored in Syria and Syrian citizens would return to their homeland.
"We will send food, clothes and medical equipment worth 250,000 USD," Aljarallah said.
The number of Syrians staying in Turkey after fleeing violence in their country stood to 24,056 as of Monday.
