ISTANBUL
Iraq's Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi met Masoud Barzani, the head of regional administration in north of Iraq, in Istanbul on Thursday.
After the meeting, al-Hashimi said the aim of the meeting was to share the results of Barzani's visit to the United States and results of his visit to Gulf countries.
Al-Hashimi said they also discussed Barzani's meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, which Barzani defined as fruitful.
"I also got the same impression of my meeting with Erdogan. I hope we are proceeding on the right path," al-Hashimi said.
