At least two people have been confirmed dead and several injured after gunmen attacked a church in the Kenyan coastal city of Mombasa on Sunday, according to medics.
People were attending a church service when unidentified gunmen open fire.
At least two people have been confirmed dead, a doctor in the general hospital in Mombasa told Anadolu Agency, declining to give his name.
Many of the wounded, with blood oozing out of their bullet wounds, have been rushed to the hospital.
Doctors were seen trying to save the lives of two men who had bullet wounds on their back.
Many small children were hurt and most of them had injuries from the panic caused by the attack. Some had bullet wounds.
Security is being beefed up in the region.
