SARAJEVO, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bosnian police said they detained five people on terrorism charges after three of them attempted to transfer an improvised explosive device across the border.
The arrests came as part of an international police operation codenamed "Benelux," with the involvement of police in the Netherlands and Sweden.
Three suspects were detained Friday night in an unknown border area, while two others were arrested after police raided two locations in capital Sarajevo to look for evidence.
Authorities said the suspects allegedly wanted to use the bomb for an attack in Scandinavia.
