El Al Israel Airlines after a three-month halt restarted its flights between Cairo and Tel Aviv on Monday.
According to Egyptian state television, an El Al Airlines plane landed at Cairo International Airport with 433 passengers. The plane returned to Tel Aviv with 12 passengers.
El Al Israel Airlines had postponed its flights to Cairo three months ago following protests against Israel in Egypt. The airlines company was flying to Cairo 3 times a day before January 25, 2011.
The airlines flies to only Egypt among Arab countries.
El Al Israel Airlines is the flag carrier of Israel, established in 1948.
In 2011, El Al operated an all-Boeing fleet of 37 aircraft, flying over 2 million passengers, and employed a staff of 6,056 globally.
