Death toll in Iraqi attacks: 47

Recent attacks in Iraq have killed at least 47 people and injured 208 others.

Iraqi officials told Anadolu Agency that Monday's attacks in Baghdad left 34 people dead and injured 168 others.
Moreover, in an another attack in the Iraqi southern city of Basra with two car bombs, the number of dead rose to 13 and 40 others were wounded.The attack in Kamaliya town's market place in Baghdad occurred early Monday morning.

Furthermore, at least eight policemen have been killed after unidentified gunmen attacked a police station in the Iraqi city of Al-Hadis in the Al-Anbar province.
The unidentified gunmen, who entered the building, killed also the police chief, lieutenant colonel Hamid al-Farsh.
In an another attack, twin car bombs in the Iraqi southern city of Basra have killed nine people and wounded 28 others.
Iraqi security officials told Anadolu Agency that two cars exploded in the Hay Al-Hussein and Suad Garbi Square of Basra city.
It was added that security cordoned off the scene and wounded people were taken to local hospitals.
In an another attack, it was reported that six people were killed and five others were wounded during clashes between Iraqi security forces and armed groups in the Ramadi city of central Iraq where is about 110 kilometers west of Baghdad.
According to information received by Anadolu Agency reporter, after armed groups set a police car into fire, security forces clashed with gunmen where six people including four police officers were killed. Five wounded people were taken to local hospitals.
