All morning flights to Sarajevo International Airport, including a flight from Istanbul, were canceled on Sunday due to thick fog, airport officials told The Anadolu Agency.
Fog and smog stemming from air pollution in Sarajevo have often resulted in the cancelation of flights.
In 2014, daily life was paralyzed in Balkans for days after bad weather, fog and smog reduced visibility and disturbed traffic.
