BELGRADE, Serbia

Bosnia and Herzegovina has detained seven people suspected of war crimes against civilians during the 1992-95 Bosnian War, authorities announced on Friday.

Some of them were directly linked to the execution-style killing of 22 Bosniak civilians, including seven children and eight women, in the Balatun region, the prosecutor’s office said.

More than 100,000 people were killed and about 2 million people were forced to migrate during the war, according to the International Crisis Group.
