Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika has said the crisis in north of Mali poses a threat to the security of Algeria.
Speaking to Algeria Radio on Monday, Bouteflika said the security of Algeria was imperilled due to the crisis in northern Mali and acts of terror.
He said the attack on natural gas facilities in Ain Amenas was an example that the issues in Mali affected Algeria, adding that their security forces dealt with the attack.
A hostage crisis at Ain Amenas facilities last month ended with killing of 38 people.
