Letoon Ancient City, known as the religious center of Lycia, sheds light on history.
The city, which is located in Türkiye’s southwestern city of Mugla, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988.
Excavation and restoration work continue in the city, which has temples, inscriptions and statue bases built in the name of Leto, Apollon and Artemis.
