Yemeni Turkish development foundation was established for improving economical, cultural and commercial relations between the two countries.
An inauguration ceremony was held at the capital city of Yemen with the attendance of National Transitional Counsil's (NTC) Prime Minister Muhammad Salim Basindwah, Turkish Ambassador in Sana'a Fazli Corman, foundation manager and chairman Muhammed El Humeykani, political party leaders and members of the non-governmental organisations.
Ambassador Corman spoke during the ceremony and said that ''This foundation will become a bridge between Turkey and Yemen. There will be cultural, educational, social, political and commercial improvements and activities of the foundation will bring strength to Yemen.''
Basindwah stressed that they needed to set up more non-governmental foundations in order to develop Yemen. He believes that Yemen will improve its development with the support of Turkey.
