ANKARA
The US Embassy in Ankara announced that it would continue its services as of Monday following the suicide bomb attack on Friday.
The US Embassy in the capital of Ankara, the consulate general in Istanbul and the consulate in Adana would be in service as of Monday according to the announcement on the website.
Terrorist DHKP-C organization claimed the suicide bomb attack at US Embassy which killed the suicide bomber and a security guard and wounded a Turkish journalist.
The US Department of State warned US citizens to be on guard against possible acts of violence and stay away from crowded places such as areas of protests in a written statement released.
The Embassy also advised US citizens travelling to Turkey to register on-line to the travel programme of the US Department of State.
