ANKARA
Turkey's Science, Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergun has said they started receiving clear images from Turkey's first high-resolution satellite Gokturk-2 ten days ago.
Ergun said first images were from Antalya province in Turkey and Auckland province in New Zealand.
He said satellite had been passing over Turkey four times a day and during that passages images could be obtained from every part of Turkey.
Ergun said the images would be used mostly by Turkish Air Force Command.
