Heavy snowfall in the north-western province of Istanbul has hampered air traffic.
Turkey's national air carrier Turkish Airlines (THY) has cancelled 102 domestic and international flights to and from Istanbul on Tuesday.
THY officials warned passengers to call their call center at "444 0 849" in order to receive information about their flights prior to coming to the airport.
Meanwhile, a senior official with the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) at the Ataturk International Airport, Celal Ozugur indicated that 59 vehicles were involved in clearing the airport from snow.
"A total of 63 team members are working in four shifts to clear the airport from snow," Ozugur also said.
