ANKARA (AA) - September 21, 2012 - Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday cancelled his trip to New York where he was to attend the General Assembly of the United Nations.
In a written statement released on Friday, the Turkish Prime Ministry said that Erdogan cancelled his trip to New York due to preparations for the Justice and Development (AK) Party's upcoming Fourth Great Congress and a very busy schedule.
"Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will represent Turkey at the UN General Assembly," the statement also said.
