ADANA (AA) - A Turkish court has accepted an indictment prepared by prosecutors from Adana, regarding the twin bomb attacks by which 52 people were killed in southern Reyhanli town in May 2013.
The indictment was submitted to 8th High Penal Court by Prosecutor Ozcan Sisman of Adana public prosecution office - the office in charge by the 10th articles of anti-terror law.
The court decided the first hearing to be on February 13, 2014.
Prosecutors demand in the indictment an aggravated life imprisonment for 19 of thirty-three suspects, two of whom are Syrian citizens, after accusing them with "attempting to disrupt the national unity and territorial integrity of (Turkish) state".
Same suspects will also be tried for a 22 year long prison sentence each for attempted murder of 130 people, according to the indictment.
Prosecutors are also asking for an (53 times) aggravated life time imprisonment for 19 suspects for killing 52 people.
According to the official figures, 52 people were killed by a twin car bomb attack in Hatay's Reyhanli border town on 11 May 2013.
