BAKU
Turkey's Labor & Social Security Minister Faruk Celik said on Thursday that Turkey's interests were the same as Azerbaijan's.
Having arrived in Baku to attend the 7th meeting of Joint Committee of Turkey-Azerbaijan Labor and Social Security, Celik visited the tomb of late Azerbaijani President Haydar Aliyev and the Turkish Martyrdom in Baku.
Speaking to reporters at the Turkish Martyrdom, Celik said that there were important investments in both countries and that there were important issues concerning the ministries of both countries.
"The officials of our labor and social security ministries hold talks every year," Celik said.
I will attend the 7th meeting of Joint Committee of Turkey-Azerbaijan Labor and Social Security and discuss the steps to be taken in labor world, stated Celik.
Asked about the Upper Karabakh issue, Celik said that whatever Azerbaijan's interest were, the interests of Turkey were the same. We want everybody to know that Turkey is against everything that disturbs Azerbaijan, Celik added.
During his two-day trip to Azerbaijan, Minister Celik will meet Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and hold talks with other Azerbaijani officials.
