ANKARA
Turkey’s First Lady Emine Erdogan on Wednesday met with Fatoumatta Bah Barrow, the wife Gambia’s president, in the capital.
The meeting of the two first ladies came during the official visit of Gambian President Adama Barrow to Turkey.
Erdogan and Barrow exchanged views on relations between Turkey and Gambia in the areas of education and health during the meeting at the state guest house in Ankara.
Barrow thanked Erdogan for Turkey’s support for the development of Africa.
The meeting was held behind closed doors.
