Turkey's EU Affairs Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis received Hungary's Ambassador in Ankara Janos Hovari on Wednesday in advance of Hungarian Prime Minister Victor Orban's visit to Turkey on Dec. 17-18, 2013.
"Hungary is one of the countries that support Turkey's accession process into European Union (EU) and the ambassador is one of the ambassadors who speaks Turkish well and closely follows Turkey," said Bagis in the ministry office.
Stating the topic of the reception was about Hungarian delegation's visit on said date, Bagis noted agreements which would be signed during Orban's visit will come in useful for both the two countries and Turkey's relations with EU.
On the other hand, Hovari said the visit will be made within the scope of reciprocal visit of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Hungary in February, 2013.
"Hungary has eight ministers and five of them will be in Turkey on Dec. 17, which will display Hungary's interest in Turkey," added the ambassador.
