A lawmaker of Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) criticized Turkish football clubs having the rule of transferring unlimited number of foreign players.
Cavit Ari, lawmaker from southern Antalya province, said 10 out of 11 football players on the field are usually foreigners who cannot perform Turkey's national anthem before the matches begin.
He stressed that there would be no "national success" internationally.
Turkish football clubs are allowed to have 11 foreign players in their squad.
