LONDON (AA) - "Quasar Istanbul" Turkey's first meta-luxury residential and commercial project in Turkey has become European champion in 3 different categories at the European Property Awards.
The awards ceremony which took place in London's Grosvenor House Hotel on Tuesday evening hosted many residential and commercial property professionals from Europe. At the event, Quasar Istanbul received its European championship in the fields of "Leisure Architecture", "Apartment" and "Development Multiple Units".
Speaking to Anadolu Agency prior to the awards ceremony, CEO of Viatrans-Meydanbey Joint Venture, Haydar Ozkan described their project's theme, the "meta-luxury" calling it as, "Quasar Istanbul is a result that escapes the cliches of so-called luxury. It is about the pursuit of luxury beyond luxury."
Still in the construction process, the project is placed in the heart of Istanbul, in Mecidiyekoy with an investment worth of 500 million Swiss francs.
Moreover, Ozkan highlighted that they aim to set up a culture, art and fashion centre within their project which is formed by 257 flats and 60 offices.
The European Property Awards are open to residential and commercial property professionals from Europe. Once the highest level of achievement is succeeded by companies in this region, then they get a chance to compete at the International Property Awards.
