Police seize 24.5 kg of cocaine at Istanbul Airport
Drugs brought from Colombia were hidden in box with flowers, security sources say

ISTANBUL
Turkish police seized on Thursday 24.5 kg (53.46 pounds) of cocaine hidden in a box with flowers at the Istanbul Airport.
Anti-narcotic teams in Istanbul acted on a tip-off that a substantial amount of cocaine was brought to Turkey from Colombia, security sources said.
They added that a search for suspects who were meant to take the package is underway.
