Ankara (AA) - Protesters against the demolition of Taksim Gezi Park have been interfered by police in various districts of Turkish capital Ankara.
A group of protesters convened at Tunali Hilmi Street to meet other groups at Kizilay Square.
Following police intervention, the group scattered to Sihhiye, Ziya Gokalp Street and GMK Boulevard.
Another group under Mithatpasa Bridge was also intervened by police using water cannon and tear gas.
Some demonstrators damaged public buses while many others threw stones at the police.
Another group attacked the buildings of Channel 24 and Star newspaper breaking the windows.
Police also interfered in a group who wanted to march from Middle East Technical University to Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Headquarters.
During the protests on Monday, 30 people were detained in Ankara.
Ankara Governor's Office said in a written statement that videos and findings on the attacks against public properties and public officials during the protests in Ankara were being examined.
Legal actions will be maintained and the results will be shared with public, the statement said.
