There are no booking cancellations in any hotels based in Turkey's western coast -- Aegean Sea coast -- due to Gezi Park protests.
Chairman of GETOB, South Aegean Tourist Hoteliers Association, Bulent Bulbuloglu told Anadolu Agency that as being tourism workers they were worried due to Gezi Park protests.
Bulbuloglu drew attention to cancellations in Istanbul hotels and said ,"There are no problems in the coastline nor booking cancellations. We are always in touch with the tour organizers. They share their concerns over incidents going worse."
He added, there were also protests in south Aegean region of the country and said, "Most of the tourists do not come across protests as they usually take place in downtowns. Especially, local authorities and security officials in Marmaris resort town of Turkey's southwestern province of Mugla pay high attention to be sensitive and to understand the issue."
