BEIRUT (AA) - August 22, 2012 - Lebanon's Interior Minister Marvan Charbel spoke to Turkey's ambassador in Beirut Inan Ozyildiz on Tuesday over abducted two Turks in Lebanon.
During the conversation, Charbel stated that a cooperation should be made between both countries.
Meanwhile, Turkish ambassador expressed his gladness over Lebanese government's efforts for solving the issue.
On August 15, Lebanese Miqdad tribe had kidnapped more than 20 people including a Turkish citizen Aydin Tufan Tekin and Syrian opposition members and fighters with the Free Syrian Army in retaliation to the arrest of one of their tribesmen by the FSA inside Syria.
Another Turkish citizen Abdulmecit Aslan was also kidnapped in the country by unknown people earlier in August.
