HAKKARI/RIZE (AA) - It snowed in Hakkari, southeastern Turkey, and Rize, northeastern Turkey, in June.
People skied in Hakkari after the snowfall while the others in western and southern coasts of Turkey were sweltered by excessive heat.
It also snowed in Rize, Kackar Mountains which rise above the Black Sea coast in northeastern Turkey.
