ANKARA (AA) - Turkish security forces intervened in a group of smugglers trying to cross the border from Syria to Turkey illegally.
"One of the security forces was injured badly as a result of the blaze after the smugglers set fire with a diesel can" said a statement released by the Turkish General Staff on Monday.
The injured official was sent to Plastic Surgery Hospital after the initial medical treatment.
