Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports, Suat Kilic on Saturday said that "Islam was a religion of peace and Islamophobia could be solved by a global perspective."
Speaking at a Conference of Young Journalists under the title "Islamophobia through Eyes of Young Journalists" and delivering the opening remarks at the Marmara Congress Center in Istanbul, Suat Kilic indicated that it would not be correct to label Islamophobia as a problem of a religion or the Muslims.
All problems associated with Islam are those among the top of global problems, Kilic stated.
"Islam is a religion of peace. Islamophobia could be solved by a global perspective. Today, we will talk about real Islam which supports peace. With this conference, we will talk about Islam and how it supports peace. We plan to create a more peaceful world," Kilic also said.
