ANKARA
A statement by the ministry has said that the rate was 4.1 deaths per 1,000 lives in EU countries.
According to a report by World Health Organization (WHO), life expectancy rate was 75 years in Turkey in 2009.
Meanwhile, Turkey has 167 doctors and 156 nurses per 100,000 population, while EU countries have 330 doctors and 824 nurses.
