ANKARA
Turkish health minister said Wednesday that abortion was a method that should not be preferred unless it was a medical necessity.
"We are planning to submit works on the matter to the cabinet within next month," said Recep Akdag during his visit to Anadolu Agency Editor Desk.
The cabinet and the parliament would deal with it then, he said.
Earlier Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that they were preparing the law on abortion.
