"We could not borrow such affordable loan from even our relatives. This is a great opportunity for Bosniaks willing to return to their homes," Osman Muharemovic, a farmer from the village of Konjevic Polje, northeast of Bosnia&Herzegovina, the first recipient from a 100-million euro Turkish loan.
The loan with a ten-year repayment was announced last May during a visit by Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Ali Babacan in Bosnia&Herzegovina and it aims at funding Bosniaks to start sustainable business in farming, animal husbandry and tourism.
The loan is released over Bosna Ziraat Bank and Bosna Bank International.
